The Chiefs might get Marquise "Hollywood" Brown back sooner than expected based on a new report that emerged following a bitter loss to the Bills.

Following a cryptic social media post that seemingly suggested Brown's return was near, Matt Derrick of Chiefs Digest declared that we'd see Brown soon and his 21-day practice window could be activated within the next few weeks.

Brown hasn't played this year after suffering a shoulder injury during Kansas CIty's first preseason game. Based on how much the offense has struggled this year, Brown's potential debut will give the team a massive boost.

Chiefs Get Big Hollywood Brown Injury Update Before Week 12

"All indications are is that his recovery is going extremely well," Derrick said. "I think we see him sooner than later. They (the Chiefs) won't open his return practice window this week, possibility next week but probably the week after that."

There was concern that Brown wouldn't play at all for the Chiefs after signing just a one-year deal, making this a significant development in his recovery. Brown is an extremely talented receiver just three seasons removed from a 1,000-yard campaign. If he's on the field for the stretch run, this offense becomes much more dangerous.

Isiah Pacheco and Charles Omenihu are both expected to return within the next two weeks as well. Slowly but surely, this roster is finally getting healthy.

Kansas City faces the Carolina Panthers and Las Vegas Raiders before a home matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers. Based on Derrick's report, Brown likely won't play in those contests. His regular season debut could come on December 15 against the Cleveland Browns, though that's purely speculation until we know more.

Either way, it sounds like Brown will be on the field when the Chiefs need him the most.
