One of the biggest stories of the offseason so far has been Cleveland Browns star defensive end Myles Garrett requesting a trade. Garrett made his trade request public during Super Bowl week, stating his desire to win a championship. However, the Browns organization has remained steadfast in their lack of interest in trading the star.
Despite this, teams continue to call and inquire about the 29-year-old pass rusher. This includes one of the Kansas City Chiefs' biggest rivals in the AFC.
According to Tony Pauline of SportsKeeda, the Buffalo Bills are expected to put a bid in for Garrett. While many have speculated that Buffalo could be a landing spot for Garrett, there's been little reporting confirming that to be the case prior to Pauline's article about what he learned from the combine. If Garrett does end up on the Bills in 2025, it could spell disaster for the Chiefs.

Buffalo Bills Expected to Make a Push for Myles Garrett
Buffalo's interest in Garrett isn't surprising. In 2022, the Bills signed a 33-year-old Von Miller to a six-year deal to help their pass rush in big games, especially those against Kansas City. While Miller has been a decent addition, he hasn't been the game-changer Buffalo hoped for due to his age and other factors.
This year in two games against Kansas City, Miller had one sack and three QB hurries. Overall in those two outings, the Bills defense recorded four sacks and 11 QB hurries, according to Pro Football Focus. While their lack of pass rush didn't hurt them in their regular season matchup, it did come back to haunt Buffalo in the playoffs.
Therefore, adding a pass rusher like Garrett could provide the Bills with the spark they need to defeat Kansas City in the playoffs. That said, the likelihood of Buffalo successfully acquiring Garrett is extremely low.
Nonetheless, Chiefs fans should keep their eyes open in case this trade does become a reality because it will certainly make this rivalry even more interesting.
