While some fans are hoping for a potential reunion between Tyreek Hill and the Kansas City Chiefs, all signs point towards that development being a long shot, at best.

Hill may not be returning to Kansas City anytime soon, but that doesn't mean that a memory of his time with the Chiefs cannot come to him in South Beach. No, Kansas City fans did not miss another Chiefs player signing on with the Dolphins. Instead, the younger brother of one of Hill's former quarterbacks in K.C. has signed on with Miami and will compete for a job behind starter Tua Tagovailoa.

Former Chiefs backup quarterback Blaine Gabbert's brother, Brett, has signed with the Dolphins as an undrafted rookie free agent after completing his collegiate career with the Miami (OH) Redhawks. The younger Gabbert brings plenty of experience to the Dolphins quarterback room, as he made 52 starts at Miami (OH).

For Gabbert to make Miami's roster, he will need to be at his best as the other quarterbacks set to be on the field during training camp, outside of Tagovailoa, include former first-round pick Zach Wilson and 2025 draft pick Quinn Ewers. Needless to say, it will be an uphill battle for the sibling of the former Chiefs quarterback to make the team with those other signal callers competing for jobs.

Given the connection between Hill and Gabbert's older brother, it could be worthwhile for the rookie quarterback to try and get some tips from the All-Pro wide receiver that will help his cause at latching on with the Dolphins, or any other team.

Who knows if Hill would be willing to do such a thing, but it could be worth a shot for the undrafted rookie since we all know how highly Hill thinks of the Chiefs and the time he spent in Kansas City.
