The 2024 season has been a massive disappointment for former Kansas City Chiefs star wide receiver Tyreek Hill and the Miami Dolphins. After losing to the Chiefs in the playoffs last year, many thought Hill and the Dolphins would be a contender in the AFC this season.

However, that has not been the case, as the Dolphins are two games out from the final playoff spot in the AFC, and Hill hasn’t had one of his typical seasons. The star wide receiver only has 67 receptions (104 targets) for 805 yards and five touchdowns in 14 games this season.

The former Chiefs star is projected to finish the 2024 campaign with 81 receptions (126 targets) for 978 yards and six touchdowns. With that in mind, the 30-year-old wide receiver threw out an interesting tweet on Wednesday, which got social media talking.

Hill posted the following on Twitter/X, “It’s time for me to go coach.” Immediately after that tweet, he said, “I might get my first grey hair this year.”

As you can imagine, social media users acted accordingly and tried to figure out what the star wide receiver meant. Does he want to retire? Play elsewhere next year? Or is Hill trolling?

The 30-year-old wide receiver is not having a great year statistically in Miami but just signed a huge three-year, $90 million restructured contract extension this season. Therefore, he wouldn’t become a free agent until 2027.

Based on all that, if we had to guess what Hill meant, he was likely trolling or saying he wanted to get into coaching. That said, no one knows whether it will happen soon or 5-10 years down the road. It would be shocking to see the star receiver hang up the cleats, given his numbers over the last few years.
