Former Chiefs Coaching Intern Lands Shocking New Job in College Ranks

Former Chiefs coaching intern Michael Vick, who is one of the most memorable quarterbacks in the history of the NFL for his unique play style, has officially found a new job in football.
Vick is expected to take over as the head coach of Sacramento State. While not yet official, Adam Schefter of ESPN's latest report indicates it's overwhelmingly likely.
He served as a coach for Kansas City in 2017 with Andy Reid, who coached the dual-threat signal caller in college. It was only for training camp, yet Vick has Chiefs ties nonetheless.

During his illustrious career, Vick was a four-time Pro Bowler and nearly won an MVP in 2004. He's not been a memorable figure in recent Chiefs' fans history, though still played a large role in the foundation of fans across the country.
Even though Vick doesn't have a place in Kansas City history, he certainly does in that of the NFL. His electrifying nature gave faith to dual-threat QBs like Patrick Mahomes, allowing the latter to make incredible scramble plays en route to three Super Bowl MVP trophies.
We'll see if Vick ultimately becomes a collegiate coach. Either way, there's no question about his impact on the NFL.
Here's hoping Vick achieves great success and find his way moving forward. The Chiefs became better thanks to his influence. Hopefully, he can continue to inspire the next generation of football fans in his new job.
In the meantime, Kansas City is focused on trying to become the first team in history to win three straight Super Bowls.
