4. 95th overall: Bradyn Swinson, EDGE, LSU

As previously mentioned, the Chiefs have struggled a bit this season when it comes to applying pressure off the edge. It's been a bit of a down year for guys like George Karlaftis (5.0 sacks in 12 games) and Felix Anudike-Uzomah hasn't come through as the Chiefs would have expected from a former first-round pick.

Bradyn Swinson is an Oregon transfer who has found success at LSU, especially this season with 8.5 sacks, 13 tackles for loss, and a pair of forced fumbles

5. 132nd overall: Sebastian Castro, DB, Iowa

The Kansas City Chiefs took a lot of swings at the defensive backfield in the 2022 NFL Draft class, and I think we could see a similar strategy again when it comes to the 2025 NFL Draft. Just like you can never have too many good pass rushers, you really can't have too many good corners. And one of the most interesting guys in this year's crop of prospects is Iowa Hawkeyes defensive back Sebastian Castro.

Castro has played the slot and safety for Phil Parker at Iowa and that versatility is going to endear him to coaches in the NFL Draft process. He's an absolute dawg who is going to outplay his draft status rather quickly.

6. 255th overall: John Michael Gyllenborg, TE, Wyoming

It's always fun for the Kansas City Chiefs to take shots on skill players offensively, no matter what juncture of the NFL Draft we're talking about. Wyoming's John Michael Gyllenborg is a classic Chiefs type of tight end who can split off and play a big slot role. He's got big-play ability, a great catch radius, and is an athletic mismatch at a position the Chiefs feature heavily in their offense. The succession plan from Travis Kelce to Noah Gray and this guy waiting in the wings would be fascinating.
