Chiefs Trade Addition Leaves for Bills in New Offseason Prediction
The 2025 offseason chatter has begun with many teams already out of the playoff picture. The Kansas City Chiefs are locked into the 2024 season, as they have an 11-1 record.
Even though that's the focus for the Chiefs, players on their team are projected to be elsewhere in 2025.
Bleacher Report released an article talking about every team's weaknesses and one player they could add this free agency.
In their projection, the Buffalo Bills poached linebacker Josh Uche from the Kansas City Chiefs. In October, the Chiefs acquired Uche from the New England Patriots for a 2026 sixth-round pick. Since coming over to the Chiefs, Uche has played in just 37 total snaps, notching two total tackles.
Regardless, Uche is a speedy pass rusher who can create pressure. In his NFL career, Uche has recorded 78 total tackles, 20.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles. The Chiefs didn't give up much to land him but are hoping he gives them production when it matters the most. The postseason.
With the Michigan product slated to hit free agency, the Bills may be an option for him. Bleacher Report added that Buffalo could move on from Von Miller this offseason.
"They can cut the veteran [Von Miller] before June 1 and save $8.5 million against the cap or wait until June 2 to get to $17.5 million in savings. "

If they do that, Uche could be someone they look to add.
The Bills and the Chiefs have a big-time rivalry. In Week 11, Buffalo beat Kansas City 30-21. They could potentially match up in the postseason, where Buffalo could get another close look at the 26-year-old.
