Today, I put together my final top 50 players in the 2025 NFL draft based on how talented they are and their value to the Kansas City Chiefs. Several players will not be available when the Chiefs are picking, as they are all but guaranteed to go higher than 31, and others may fall for a variety of reasons. I have not included any quarterbacks on this list as I think we can all agree the Chiefs will not be selecting a quarterback in the Top 50.

Players are ranked on their value to the Chiefs exclusively, not just overall talent.

1. Travis Hunter, ATH, Colorado

Hunter is the best player in the draft hands down, and he will not be available for the Chiefs to add, but that is why he's at the top of the list.

2. Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State

Carter is the best EDGE in the draft, but is all but a lock to go in the top five, despite how much I would love to see him in red, something crazy would have to happen in order for him to be a Chief in 2025.

3. Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

Some have rumored that McMillan will fall in the draft, and it is possible that the Chiefs get aggressive to make a splash to go get him, but simply put, I don't think it will happen. I would love to see the Chiefs get their hands on McMillan, but it's highly unlikely.

4. Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Jeanty is the best running back prospect since Bijan Robinson, and his skill set is absolutely undeniable. He is essentially a lock to be taken in the top 10. You should not expect him to be playing for the Chiefs anytime soon.

5. Will Campbell, OL, LSU

Campbell has been considered the top tackle prospect in the draft since the start of the season. He has taken a drop due to smaller arm measurements, as well as some fans just looking to be different. It would take an avalanche-like fall for him to end up in Kansas City next season.

6. Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State

Yes, I have Simmons just outside of the top five as far as players the Chiefs should value in the draft this year. Adding a tackle should be near the top of the Chiefs' priority list, and Josh Simmons is maybe the best pure tackle in the class. It's unlikely he will be available at pick No. 31, but if he is, or the Chiefs can make a trade for him, it would be an ideal addition to the roster going forward.

7. Kenneth Grant, IDL, Michigan

Grant is my top defensive tackle for the Chiefs. He is a pure nose tackle who can eat blocks while also making plays when he is single-teamed. He would be the perfect complement to the Chiefs' defense. Grant could be available at No. 31 and is near the top of the list for guys I want to see the Chiefs add in the first round.

8. Armand Membou, OL, Missouri

Opposite of Will Campbell, Membou has seen an incredible rise over the last few months, and is now likely a top-ten pick. The Chiefs would be lucky to have him, but I don't think I would count on it.

9. Walter Nolen, IDL, Ole Miss

Nolen is my second-ranked defensive tackle and was once the second overall high school player in the nation, ranked only behind Travis Hunter. He has transformed his game. I fear Nolen will go in the top 20, but if the Chiefs are able to land him, I would be ecstatic.

10. Mason Graham, IDL, Michigan

Graham came into the season almost unanimously considered the top defensive tackle in the draft. He has fallen some for me, mainly due to subpar measurements and incredible play from other top prospects. I still would not count on him being an option for the Chiefs.

11. Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia

Williams is one of the best players in the draft, at one of the most valuable positions. The Chiefs have several good edge rushers, so it is unlikely we will see the team target one in the draft, making Kansas City an unlikely landing spot for Williams.

12. Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

Warren has been compared to Brock Bowers quite a bit because of their position and potential draft value. There is almost a zero percent chance he will be available for the Chiefs.

13. Kelvin Banks, OL, Texas

Banks came into the year widely considered one of the best players in the class and was someone who felt like he was locked into being a top 10 pick. Banks has fallen some because of positional questions, but I think he could be an NFL guard or tackle in the NFL and would be a great fit if he landed in Kansas City.

14. Shemar Stewart, DE, Texas A&M

Stewart is one of the most athletic players in the draft, and despite a lack of production, has seen a significant rise over the last couple of months. His upside is immense, and I would love to see him in Kansas City, but I can't imagine teams will let him fall past 20.

15. Donovan Jackson, OL, Ohio State

Jackson entered the year widely considered a fringe top-100 player, but proved to be one of the best guards in the class this season. He kicked out to left tackle after some injuries along the offensive line and performed well. I would love to see him as the Chiefs first first-round pick on Thursday.

16. Jalon Walker, LB, Georgia

Walker is considered the top defensive player in the draft by some analysts, and it is a near certainty that he will be gone well before the Chiefs pick at 31.

17. Derrick Harmon, IDL, Oregon

Harmon has been one of my favorite defensive linemen in the draft after the best season of his career at Oregon this season. Harmon will likely be available for the Chiefs at 31 due to the incredible depth of the defensive tackle class. Harmon would make a day one impact in Kansas City and, despite being my fourth-ranked defensive tackle, would make me very happy on draft day.

18. Nick Emmanwori, DB, South Carolina

Nick Emmanwori is maybe the most athletic player in the draft this offseason, and showed off his incredible skillset at the combine, where he put on a show. I think he is still a little raw with his skills, but with his potential, Steve Spagnuolo may be able to help make him a superstar.

19. Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

The Chiefs do not need a corner, which is what drops Johnson. I would love to see him with the team, but I doubt he will make it out of the top 10.

20. Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri

Burden is a fan favorite due to his local connections after his incredible career at Missouri. While I love Burden's skillset, the Chiefs have a lot of small, quick receivers who are great with the ball in their hands. I love what he can do, and his skillset is very evident, but I don't love the fit and doubt he will be available at 31.

21. Malaki Starks, DB, Georgia

Starks came into the season as a top ten prospect, but has seen a dip due to a worse performance in coverage this season. He is a good tackler, and his athletic ability is more than good enough to succeed in the NFL. The Chiefs are looking for a safety, and it is more likely than you may think that he makes it to 31.

22. James Pearce Jr, EDGE, Tennessee

James Pearce is an electric athlete with great length and quickness off the edge. He is likely a better fit in a 3-4 defense where he can be a wide pass rusher. His skillset is clear, so if he falls to 31, and the other 21 guys are off the board, he could be an interesting pickup.

23. Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama

Campbell is my top pure off-ball linebacker, and I love his skillset. Unfortunately, most others have the same analysis, and he will not be on the board for the Chiefs at 31.

24. Tyleik Williams, IDL, Ohio State

Williams has been dropping down boards recently, as other top defensive tackles have been on the rise. But between his size and athletic upside, Williams has the potential to be one of the best players in the class. The Chiefs have shown an ability to develop defensive linemen, and if they can work with Williams, he could be one of the best linemen in the NFL with time.

25. Jahade Barron, DB, Texas

Barron is the top slot corner in the draft, and with the Chiefs already having Trent McDuffie, it knocks him down my board. But if enough guys are gone, and he is on the board, talent will reign supreme, and Kansas City will have to move things around. The talent is there, but not the fit.

26. Aireontae Ersery, T, Minnesota

Ersery is a mammoth of a man, who takes up a ton of space on the right side of the line and is incredibly difficult to move on the edge. There are still some technique issues I think can be worked out, such as his posture and footwork, but he has all the intangibles to be successful in the NFL. I wouldn't mind seeing him be the Chiefs' first-round pick, but if they can land him on day two, I would be over the moon.

27. Grey Zabel, OL, North Dakota State

I have heard a lot of discourse around Grey Zabel, with some people having very strong negative feelings about him being the Chiefs' potential first-round pick. I would like to ease those concerns, as Zabel really may be one of the best linemen in the NFL. He played strong in the Senior Bowl and has all the intangibles, and similar to Ersery, would be solid in the first round, but would make me very happy if they could land him on Day Two.

28. Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M

Scourton was one of my favorite edge guys coming into this year, and he shows off some really impressive athletic skills. I have already mentioned the strength of the Chiefs' DE room, and I would not imagine he's much of an option for the team until day two.

29. Jonah Savaiinaea, OL, Arizona

Evidently I see something that other people don't when it comes to Jonah Savaiinaea, and I will either be very right or very wrong. But I think he is more than capable of being a tackle, and his size and power made me fall in love with him early in the draft process. He may be my favorite Day Two option for the Chiefs, who will realistically be available at 63.

30. Josh Conerly Jr, T, Oregon

Once a five-star recruit, Conerly has earned a reputation as one of the top tackles in college football. He got bull rushed by Mike Green at the Senior Bowl, which has hurt his stock the most. He has received similar hate from fans that we have seen for Grey Zabel. But despite what you may hear, Conerly is a great prospect who would be a good pick-up for the Chiefs.

31. Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina

Hampton is widely considered the second-best running back in the draft, and that is exactly where I have him. The only reason he falls to 29 on my board is due to the amount of good running backs in this year's class. I don't see the need to force the issue.

32. Princley Umanmielen, EDGE, Ole Miss

Umanmielen was one of my favorite players eligible for last year's class after a strong year at Florida, but he chose to return. He had an even better year in 2025, but in a stronger edge class, he has fallen on some boards. The Chiefs don't have a pressing need at EDGE, but I would love to see them add Umanmielen on Day Two if they can.

33. Quinshon Judkins, RB, Ohio State

Similar to Hampton, I love Judkins, but the positional value of running back pushes him down my board. Judkins is a great pass blocker, with vision out of the backfield as well as great power to break tackles. He would be a great Day Two pickup for the Chiefs offense.

34. Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State

I love Egbuka's skill set, but the reason he falls so low on this list is because the value at receiver comes later in the draft. Egbuka also profiles similarly to Rashee Rice due to his ability to make plays with the ball in his hands. He could be a good pick-up, but I would much prefer the team wait until Day Two to add a receiver.

35. Anthony Belton, OL, NC State

Belton is a guy I have loved all year because of his massive size and dominating power. Belton is tall, so he may be limited to right tackle, which is where I think he will be best, but he could also play guard in the NFL. He would be a great pick-up for them on Day Two despite not getting as much attention as some other guys.

36. Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall

I like Mike Green and his skillset, but he will need some development, and is not the EDGE prospect the Chiefs may be looking for. Green is top-25 on my overall board, but would be a weird fit with the Chiefs' defense.

37. JT Tuimoloau, EDGE, Ohio State

JT is my favorite EDGE option for the Chiefs if they are looking for a guy who can contribute day one. He once ranked as the number two high school prospect in the nation and has shown exactly why in his career at Ohio State. He could have declared last year, but chose to return and logged 12.5 sacks in 2024. He would be a great fit for the Chiefs' defense if he is available on Day Two.

38. Treveon Henderson, RB, Ohio State

Henderson becomes my first realistic running back target for the Chiefs, as I think it is possible he could be available in the second round. I still find it unlikely that he makes it to 63, but if he does, Henderson is my fourth-ranked RB in a loaded draft class. He and Pacheco could make one of the best duos in the NFL.

39. Tai Felton, WR, Maryland

My guy, Tai Felton, was one of the best receivers in college football and finished the year winning First-Team All-Big Ten honors. He has elite athletic ability, with maybe the best combine of any receiver, and his effort shows up in every phase of the game. He is an elite receiver who can also contribute as a returner or as a gunner on special teams. He should be priority one for the Chiefs on Day Two.

40. Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan

Loveland does not have a first-round grade from me and sits just outside. The Chiefs have Travis Kelce, who may be retiring soon, but it would be almost nonsensical for them to add a TE in the first round. I highly doubt Loveland will be available after Day One, making him an unlikely option for the Chiefs this weekend.

41. Shavon Revel Jr, CB, Eastern Carolina

Revel is one of the best athletes in the draft, but he missed this season with an injury, which could hinder his stock significantly. If the Chiefs are able to confirm his health or feel that he will be able to return to form, he could be a good pickup with the potential of being one of the best coverage corners in the NFL.

42. Tyler Booker, IOL, Alabama

After Donovan Jackson kicked to tackle, Booker became the top guard prospect in the draft. The Chiefs may be looking to add a left guard after trading Joe Thuney. Booker is rumored to be a first-round prospect, and he likely won't be an option for the Chiefs at 31. If he is available on day two, he would be a great pick-up, but it is incredibly unlikely.

43. Mason Taylor, TE, LSU

Taylor is the tight end I'm highest on in this year's draft class compared to other analysts. He is a young and athletically talented player who has tons of upside as a playmaker. He would learn from Travis Kelce if the Chiefs are interested in adding a TE with potential to have a big role in the future.

44. Ben Morrison, CB, Notre Dame

Similar to Revel, Morrison is coming off a hip injury that will limit his draft stock. But coming into the year, Morrison's skills were not in question, and he was widely considered a first-round pick. If teams are able to confirm his health going into the draft, he could be a good fit in Kansas City for 2025 and beyond.

45. Omarr Norman-Lott, IDL, Tennessee

Norman-Lott is also one of my favorite guys on the defensive line class, but he may not be what the Chiefs are looking for on the interior early in the draft. He is an electric pass rusher with quickness and speed on the interior, but the Chiefs may be more interested in adding a run stuffer to support Chris Jones. I would love to see him in the third round, but I doubt he will make it that far.

46. Azareye'h Thomas, CB, Florida State

Thomas has been on my top 50 list all offseason, but has been getting less hype recently than earlier this offseason. He has great skills to play in man or zone coverage, and his great feel for the game allows him to be successful in coverage. He would be a good fit in Kansas City and could be a great second-round addition if he's available.

47. Elic Ayomanor, WR, Stanford

Elic is my fifth-ranked receiver and is someone I have been talking about since his outstanding performance against Travis Hunter last season. He is a great pure outside receiver who can get open and make impact plays. He's also a great run blocker and could have a significant day one role in Kansas City.

48. Jordan Burch, DL, Oregon

Burch is low on several boards due to questions about what position he will play in the NFL. Burch is a big guy with speed and power, but his build is unique, making it hard to know where he should play in the NFL. Steve Spagnuolo would be the perfect coach for him, and is someone I think can get the most out of Burch at the NFL level. He should be a good option in the third round.

49. Dylan Sampson, RB, Tennessee

Sampson sits just outside of my overall top 50, but his fit with the Chiefs allows him to sneak onto my list for Kansas City. He is a polished back with a unique skillset for someone coming out of the draft because of his ability to kind of do it all. He can be on the field at all times and would be an ideal day two add for the Chiefs offense.

50. Savion Williams, WR, TCU

Williams is one of the most gifted players in the draft, with a great frame, great physicality, and skills with the ball in his hands. Williams even has time as a running back or as a wildcat quarterback. Williams is a top-tier weapon, and if anyone in the league can get the most out of him, it's Andy Reid. I would love to see what he can do in Kansas City.
