With Super Bowl Opening Night out of the way, the Kansas City Chiefs can continue prepping for their highly anticipated matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday evening.

The Chiefs enter Super Bowl 59 looking to become the first team in Super Bowl history to win three consecutive titles.

However, it won’t be easy, as Kansas City only won by three points the last time they played the Eagles in Super Bowl 57. The Chiefs are currently 1.5-point favorites over the Eagles on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Nonetheless, the Chiefs will hope to be on the winning side once again in the big game. Kansas City unveiled its first injury report on Wednesday, leading into the Super Bowl.

No new injuries were reported, which tracks with what Chiefs head coach Andy Reid told reporters on Wednesday.

Superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes was the most notable name on the Chiefs’ injury report as he was listed with an ankle. However, he was a full participant.

Mahomes has been listed with an ankle injury since Week 16. But he’s played in every game, outside of the regular season finale against the Denver Broncos.

Meanwhile, starting offensive lineman Jawaan Taylor was listed as a full participant with a knee injury. Taylor has been listed with a knee injury since Week 13, but he hasn’t missed any games, except Week 18 against the Broncos.

The Chiefs will depend on Taylor to play a clean game against the Eagles defensive line, which has been one of the best in the NFL this season. Finally, Skyy Moore was a limited participant with an abdomen injury.

The second-year wide receiver was recently activated to return from practice last week, but the team hasn’t decided if they’ll activate him for the game.
