The Kansas City Chiefs are enjoying their much-deserved bye week after securing the No.1 seed in the AFC. That said, not every NFL team is used to the success the Chiefs have had the past seven seasons, putting them in the market for a new head coach.

Recently, KC defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo revealed he would like to be a head coach again someday. Although that seems unlikely, given Spagnuolo is 65, Chiefs cornerback Joshua Williams endorsed this possibility.

Williams was on Tuesday's episode of Up & Adams with Kay Adams and was asked if
Spagnuolo still has new stuff that he pulls out of his "bag" every morning. Williams responded, "EVERY morning Spags has new stuff (for the defense)... He would be a GREAT general, he's a wonder."

Chiefs news: Joshua Williams believes Steve Spagnuolo would be a good head coach if given another chance

Even though Williams doesn't outright say that he thinks Spagnuolo would be a good head coach, it's heavily implied with the use of "general." This clear endorsement will surely catch the attention of some around the NFL, and this positive review could help Spags' dream come true.

Nevertheless, these remarks confirm that Spagnuolo likely learned a lot between his last head coaching tenure and where he is now. As the Rams head coach from 2009-2011, Spagnuolo went 10-38. Since then, Spagnuolo has been a part of many coaching staffs, including Kansas City, which he's been on for five years.

Despite this, Spagnuolo's age may be the biggest factor in him not receiving another head coaching opportunity before he retires. Although Chiefs Kingdom wants Spagnuolo to achieve his dreams of being a head coach again, they would not be opposed to him staying in Kansas City to continue coaching the defense.
