Chiefs owner Clark Hunt spoke to the media in his first in-season interview on Wednesday, covering a variety of topics that included a potential new stadium, the reunion with Kareem Hunt, practice facility plans, players expressing political views, and more.

It's been a fantastic season for the only undefeated team in the AFC, marching toward a bid to become the first to ever win three straight Super Bowls. There is a lot to be excited about but much to be discussed as well.

Hunt noted the organization is looking at sites on both sides of the state line, saying he hopes to know the plan's direction by the Spring. That being said, he explained the process is difficult to put a timeline on.

Regarding Kareem, both Andy Reid and Brett Veach were supportive of the signing.

Clark Hunt Speaks for First Time During 2024-25 Season

With Kansas City coming out of the bye week as the only undefeated team in the AFC, there are plenty of reasons to have excitement, though the stadium question is something in the back of most fans' minds to see degree.

Kansas hopes to draw the team away from Missouri and the idea has gained momentum. There is still a possibility that GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium is renovated but the prospect of building a new one may be attractive to Hunt.

There's plenty of time to make a decision and many more games. For now, fans are focused on the team's chances at a three-peat. Kareem is leading the backfield with Patrick Mahomes the betting favorite to win MVP and we're enjoying the team's golden years.

Each moment at the current stadium is special, in some way because it could be entering its final years. After Jackson County voters rejected the renovation plan in April, Kansas made its move. Hunt is considering it, though it sounds like it'll still be months before fans have an answer.
