The Kansas City Chiefs just made their seventh consecutive AFC championship game as they are chasing a historic three-peat. Thanks to a dominant defensive game behind defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo's aggressive scheme, the Chiefs took care of business against the Texans.

Arguably as entertaining to watch as the game itself is the meltdown Chiefs haters are going through on social media. While it is understandable to have strong negative feelings towards the Chiefs after years and years of heartbreak they caused the rest of the NFL, watching media members and football fans lose their minds about officiating has been utterly hilarious.

Chiefs Haters Crying on Social Media About Referees Reaches New Low

At this point, Chiefs fans are used to their rivals whining about officiating. They are no strangers to conspiracy theories about the NFL being rigged or Patrick Mahomes getting special treatment from the referees.

Even the Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans and linebacker Henry To'oTo'o joined that bandwagon after the loss.

Many social media users claimed the Texans were "robbed" on Saturday evening. It is ridiculous to make the argument that Houston was the better side.

Patrick Mahomes outplayed C.J. Stroud throughout the game, the Chiefs pass rush obliterated the Texans offensive line, and Kansas City's special teams completely overwhelmed Houston's. There was no point throughout the game that the Chiefs looked like they were in real danger of losing.

Were there questionable calls throughout the game? Sure. The 15-yard penalty on To'oTo'o for a late hit on Mahomes was likely incorrect. A counter-example would be Dalton Schultz's catch late in the fourth quarter that extended the game. Despite the Chiefs' challenge, the call stood, leading Troy Aikman to say, "If that is a catch, I don't know what a catch is any more".

Even if officiating was deemed unfair by Chiefs rivals, missing two field goals and an extra-point attempt, allowing eight sacks, and losing Travis Kelce in the end zone has nothing to do with officiating.

As the Chiefs keep on rolling their opponents, their haters will continue whining. That's what haters do. In the meantime, the Chiefs should take advantage of the fact that their opponents are wasting their time with distractions rather than trying to close the gap between them and the reigning Super Bowl champs.
