While the Kansas City Chiefs have been hard at work trying to ensure the organization can overcome a disastrous Super Bowl loss to the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles,
They've made some impressive moves throughout the offseason, particularly with some undrafted rookie signings, yet it was obvious in the ultimate championship game that this team has made mistakes in recent years.
One of those mistakes was infamously selecting wide receiver Skyy Moore. There's no question that he's a bust at this point, and it now seems clear that his days within the organization are numbered.
Patrick Mahomes just got a new 𝗪𝗘𝗔𝗣𝗢𝗡 🔥

Chiefs WR Jalen Royals Seals Skyy Moore's Fate as NFL Draft Bust
None of this feels good to say, but it's worth acknowledging nonetheless. Moore is perhaps the worst draft pick of general manager Brett Veach's tenure, and he's the most obvious example when fans look to point to a bust.
Moore deserves nothing but criticism, and Veach's decisions in recent years clearly recognize that. Drafting Utah State star Jaden Royals proves as much, and it's truly surprising that the organization has given Moore such a long leash.
That leash won't last much longer, as Moore, who has a pathetic one career TD reception, has showcasred that he can't be trusted. Patrick Mahomes doesn't think he's a quality player, so why sould we? The Chiefs don't, and that's all the information that we need.
By drafting Royals, Kansas City proved that it has no faith in Moore. He's not an NFL-quality player, and the organization will be better off the second they let him walk. We'll see how long that takes, yet it's not hard to read between the lines.
Moore won't be on the Chiefs in 2025. Royals has supplanted him, and now we're just waiting for the official announcement from an organization that has stuck onto failed picks for far too long.
