The Kansas City Chiefs delivered their worst performance of the season against the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 59, resulting in an embarrassing blowout loss. After one of the most lopsided Super Bowl defeats in recent memory, the Chiefs have to do serious introspection heading into the offseason.
This likely means that there will be some changes to the roster. The Chiefs have a few key free agents that they need to make a decision on. Trey Smith, Nick Bolton, and Justin Reid will be the top priority for GM Brett Veach in the offseason. Another pending free agent, Charles Omenihu, on the other hand, sealed his fate after a disappointing showing against the Eagles.
The veteran defender was among the worst-performing Chiefs on Sunday, per Pro Football Focus. In his 44 defensive snaps, Omenihu received a 42.0 overall grade per PFF. Only Leo Chenal and Mike Pennel received lower grades than Omenihu.
After his performance, Omenihu knew that criticism was coming his way. On Monday, he posted on social media about "Twitter GMs" and their "stupid opinions".
Here come the twitter GM’s making there stupid opinions as if yall really know football or watched tape lol

Charles Omenihu May Have Played His Final Game with the Chiefs
One doesn't need to be a general manager to know that the Chiefs are better off without Omenihu. Upon his return from an ACL tear, Omenihu didn't make much of an impact in the six regular season games he appeared in. The Chiefs obviously managed fine without the defensive end.
For the season, Omenihu received a 61.3 grade on PFF, his lowest since the 2020 campaign with the Texans. His PFF grades took a dip in the playoffs, potentially signaling to the Chiefs that an upgrade may be needed in that spot.
With higher priority free agents waiting for their payday, Omenihu will likely get squeezed out in Kansas City. Another team desperate for more pass rush help will likely take a flyer on Omenihu instead.
