7. Robbie Grossman - RF

There's a theme here. Most of the bullpen requires a makeover, while offseason additions meant to help the offense instead faltered. Kansas City's core is set but you can bet there will be quite a few new players roaming the dugout next year.

Grossman only appeared in 16 games, hitting .125 with only four hits. Considering how small of a role he played on the team, it makes sense for Kansas City to pursue a different player. He was claimed off waivers in August, giving him only a short amount of time to make an impact, yet there's no denying he was disappointing in his limited opportunities.

With 13 strikeouts and a dwindling batting average over the last several years, Grossman was available for a reason.

At 35 years old, it looks like Grossman's career is approaching its conclusion. He's had a successful stint in the majors but the Royals need to prioritize its youth to maximize the championship window moving forward.
