5. Adam Frazier - 2B

Similar to Garrett Hampson, Adam Frazier's disastrous season at the plate indicates he can't be on the roster moving forward. Despite getting critical playoff at-bats and playing a large role, Frazier was a black hole in the lineup that brought the offense down.

He hit .202 on the year with a .294 slugging percentage, striking out 59 times in 262 at-bats. With players like Nick Loftin and even Nick Pratto waiting in the wings, Kansas City's crowded infield shouldn't have space for Frazier moving forward.

Michael Massey's late-season surge and spectacular postseason make him a building block moving forward. When Frazier was signed, there was a thought that he'd battle for the starting role. That's no longer a consideration.

The Royals' desperate need for offensive juice renders players like Fraizer expendable. All options should be on the table and despite Frazier's solid defense, it'll be a problem if he stays on the roster.

There's still a place in the league for a platoon player of his caliber and it's worth noting that Frazier's .264 career batting average will net him some suitors. Kansas City just shouldn't be one of them.
