4. Darius Slayton - New York Giants

You'll notice a theme that most of this list contains players on bad teams with no hope to make the playoffs. Since Malik Nabers got hurt and missed the last two games, Darius Slayton has suddenly emerged as one of the better receivers in the NFC.

He's got 14 catches for 179 yards and a TD in those two games and fits the "speedster" profile that the Chiefs typically target. Despite playing for the dreaded Giants, Slayton also has four seasons with 700+ receiving yards and 20 total TDs in his seven-year career.

Alongside Xavier Worthy, Slayton could be a dangerous deep threat who Patrick Mahomes would love throwing to.

Daniel Jones is one of the worst deep passers in the NFL. Mahomes is one of the best. Slayton is someone who could probably be acquired for a sixth or seventh-round selection, making him an attractive option should Kansas City go for a mid-tier wideout.

His base salary is only $2.5 million and could easily fit within the Chiefs' cap. Of the remaining choices, Slayton is among the best.
