4. Cincinnati Bengals

Lastly, we must talk about the Bengals’ running game, which has struggled to take off with Chase Brown and Zack Moss.

The Bengals shockingly traded starter Joe Mixon this offseason to the Houston Texans, and tried to fill the void with Moss. Moss was signed to a two-year, $8 million contract to be part of Cincinnati’s running back by committee with Brown.

However, the 26-year-old Moss only has 211 rushing yards and two touchdowns, with a 3.7 yards per carry average.

Moss’ lack of success on the ground this season has played a huge part in why the Bengals rank 28th in the NFL with 96 rushing yards per game. Meanwhile, Hunt has a 4.2 yards per carry average in his two games with the Chiefs.

Also, Moss hasn’t had more than 58 rushing yards in any game this season, which is telling. Meanwhile, Hunt went off against the Saints’ defense for 102 yards on the ground. One can imagine that the Bengals should’ve gone after Hunt, especially since they are a pass-happy offense.
