2, Trent McDuffie

Trent McDuffie earned the right to be called one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL last season by being selected as an All-Pro. Unfortunately, the former All-Pro potentially had the worst game of his career against the Broncos.

On Sunday, McDuffie allowed Courtland Sutton to catch six passes on nine targets for 70 yards and one touchdown. Sutton's touchdown was a 32-yard go route where he burned McDuffie in coverage.

Sutton's touchdown was not his only big play of the day against McDuffie. He also had a crucial third down conversion on the Broncos' final drive that helped set them up for a game-winning field goal. Luckily, that turned out not to matter, thanks to Leo Chenal blocking the field goal.

In this upcoming game, McDuffie will be matched up with Amari Cooper as long as he's healthy. Cooper has been dealing with a wrist injury for the past two weeks, which has kept him sidelined. However, with the quality of the opponent, it's hard to see Cooper missing a third straight game.

While Cooper may not be as fast as Sutton, he does have the veteran savvy. So, while it will be a good battle between the two, McDuffie should be able to come out on top more often.
