4. Patrick Mahomes - QB

Patrick Mahomes can never truly be on thin ice. He's the best player we've ever seen and still the betting favorite (+300 at FanDuel Sportsbook) to win his third NFL MVP award. That being said, he's not infallible.

Mahomes has six interceptions through five weeks, throwing at least one in every game. The 3.8% interception rate is the highest of his career and he'll have to cut down on mistakes for this team to win a third straight Super Bowl.

It's worth noting that his 69.4% completion percentage so far is the highest of his career and he's routinely made big plays when he has to. You can't be too upset about a 5-0 record but eventually, these frequent turnovers will come back to bite the Chiefs.

The Week 5 victory looked like vintage Mahomes as he threw for 331 yards with another 22 on the ground, sealing the game late with a spectacular diving play. That game might've flipped the switch for him and he's now got a difficult Super Bowl rematch against the 49ers coming up.

No Chiefs fan should be worried about Mahomes. He's still the king but has some things to fix to keep Kansas City undefeated through a series of interesting matchups.
