Trade for DT Sebastian Joseph-Day

Now that the Chiefs filled their hole at wide receiver, the interior defense might be their biggest weakness. Chris Jones obviously continues to be one of the best in his position, but Derrick Nnadi has shown a significant decline this season.

After being a consistent member of the defensive line for years, Nnadi lost his defensive snaps to Tershawn Wharton this year. In his limited snaps, Nnadi has been one of the worst defensive tackles in the league, according to PFF.

Wharton has 1.5 sacks, 11 tackles, and three QB hits in six games while Mike Pennel has a sack, eight tackles, and one QB hit for the season. Considering Nnadi's decline and the fact that Pennel is 33, the Chiefs could use another interior defender.

Kansas City could turn to the Titans to address that weakness as well. Sebastian Joseph-Day has been playing well for Tennessee after signing a one-year, $4 million deal in the offseason. In 154 defensive snaps so far, the 29-year-old already has two sacks, 15 tackles and four QB hits.

The presumed price tag and the contract make Joseph-Day a fascinating target for the Chiefs.
