3. Trent McDuffie vs. Bills Wide Receivers

Last week, Trent McDuffie had a pretty rough outing against Courtland Sutton and the Denver Broncos. McDuffie allowed Sutton to make six catches on nine targets for 70 yards and a touchdown.,

If McDuffie has a performance similar to last week against the Bills, then Allen will pick apart the Chiefs' defense.

Luckily for the Chiefs and McDuffie, Buffalo is dealing with major receiver injuries. Rookie Keon Coleman has already been ruled out with a wrist injury. Veteran receiver Amari Cooper, whom the Bills acquired in a trade, is also dealing with a wrist injury.

Cooper has missed the past two weeks but could potentially play on Sunday. He returned to practice Wednesday in a limited fashion and is likely to remain limited throughout the week.

If Cooper is not healthy enough to play, then that leaves McDuffie against Khalil Shakir. Shakir's main threat is his speed and deep route running, which McDuffie struggled with last week. However, Shakir has also become a decent underneath receiver this season.

On the other hand, if Cooper does play Sunday, McDuffie will be matched up against him. At this stage in his career, Cooper doesn't have as much speed as he used to, but his route running and contested catch ability make him dangerous.

Both of these matchups provide McDuffie a chance to make up for his mistakes last week or continue to struggle. Hopefully, it is the former of the two, as the Chiefs need McDuffie to play well for their defense to succeed.
