Chiefs LB Hilariously Trolls Zach Wilson and Jets Offense
The Zach Wilson experience with the Jets has been miserable, with the team scoring just 10 points in each of its last two games with no offensive punch.
Kansas City’s dominant defense certainly doesn’t seem worried about New York’s attack, especially not if Willie Gay Jr. is to be believed.
In fact, Gay doesn’t think the Jets even WANT to pass the football.
Willie Gay Jr.’s Comments on Zach Wilson
When asked what he sees on tape, Gay made his feelings about Wilson clear.
Wilson looks completely overmatched as an NFL quarterback and the Jets offense has been dreadful as a result.
Through three games, Wilson has completed just 52.4% of his passes at 5.6 yards per attempt with two touchdowns to four interceptions. New York’s season was lost the second Aaron Rodgers went down with injury and it seems like everyone across the league knows it.
Kansas City is a 9.5-point favorite over the Jets after three straight impressive defensive performances. The Chiefs are allowing only 13.3 points per game thus far and are 11th in opponent rushing yards per game, so the Jets likely won’t find much running room even if that’s the game plan.
Nonetheless, it’s hilarious to see Gay so honest and calm speaking about an offense that we all know is miserable.
