3. Effective Trades

Veach has made a number of critical trades to mold Kansas City’s roster and create a championship club.

He’s both acquired stars, like Frank Clark, and sent ones away at peak value such as Tyreek Hill. Even his mid-tier acquisitions like the trades that brought Reggie Ragland or Charvarius Ward to the team have been a success.

With a calculated strategy and a keen ability to find diamonds in the rough, Veach has continuously restocked Kansas City’s cupboard with effective players at a low cost.

Whether he’s shuffling draft picks around or sniping players off someone’s practice squad, Veach’s frequent activity shows his dedication to fielding the best team possible and it’s paid off.

No matter what happens with the Chris Jones situation, Veach is the best general manager in Kansas City Chiefs history. He’s only been on the job for six years too. In another six, we may be talking about him as one of the greatest front-office executives in the long history of the entire NFL.
