VIDEO: Watch Patrick Mahomes Make Insane Throw at Chiefs Camp

The Kansas City Chiefs’ training camp may have just started but Patrick Mahomes is already in midseason form. Players aren’t even in pads, though that’s not stopping Mahomes from airing it out and showing he’s ready to defend this Super Bowl title.

That’s some incredible accuracy on a deep throw.

Maybe he’s taking umbrage with Madden NFL 24’s 91 rating for his Deep Accuracy and wants an update before the game comes out, or perhaps he’s just showing off for the fans.

Whatever the reason, that’s not the only impressive throw Mahomes made during the first two days of camp.

Mahomes seems to have an instant rapport with rookie Rashee Rice. The pair have already made several standout plays, including this beautifully-thrown TD pass today:

He’s been firing lasers all over the field and doesn’t seem content with his success thus far. Mahomes hopes to improve on a season in which he threw for 41 touchdowns and a career-high 5,250 yards.

With throws like this one and a clear comfort with his receivers, Mahomes should be in for another massive season.

Kansas City expects a step forward from Skyy Moore, Kadarius Toney, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, giving Mahomes a deeper collection of playmaking talent than he entered last season with.

Fans still anxiously hope Mahomes will break out his famous behind-the-back pass during a game, but in the meantime, these gorgeous throws will have to do.
