In one of the least surprising announcements of the offseason, both Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce have been named to Madden 24’s elusive “99 Club,” recognizing the duo with the highest overall rating can earn in the hit video game series.

This is Mahomes’ third time achieving a 99-overall rating in just seven seasons, while it’s the fourth time for Kelce. No tight end in NFL history has received the honor more than Kelce, while Mahomes is tied with Aaron Rodgers for the third-most at the quarterback position.
Chiefs’ Ratings in Madden 24
Not every position group has been released yet, but we know how some of the most important Chiefs players stack up against the competition.

Chris Jones has the second-best rating amongst all defensive linemen at 96 overall, trailing only Aaron Donald (99). Creed Humphrey comes in at 90, fellow offensive lineman Joe Thuney is an underrated 89, while defensive stalwarts like L’Jarius Sneed and Trent McDuffie are 84 and 80, respectively.
Outside of Kelce, the Chiefs’ receiving threats haven’t received much respect. Kadarius Toney is the Chiefs’ highest-rated receiver at 81, while Marquez Valdes-Scantling is a 78 and second-year wideout Skyy Moore is a 73.
Kansas City is expected to be the best overall team once all the rankings are released, but we know at the least that the Chiefs will have the game’s best one-two punch with Mahomes and Kelce.
