After getting a solid win last weekend, the Nebraska football team is favored over Buffalo as the two teams prepare to meet in Memorial Stadium.

Scott Frost and his Nebraska football team got a much-needed win this past weekend and now the Huskers are looking at the chance another much-needed win this coming weekend. After throttling the Fordham Rams, the Huskers are getting set to host the Buffalo Bulls.

Despite the fact that Nebraska suffered an embarrassing loss against Illinois to start the year and Illinois just suffered an embarrassing loss of its own, it appears as if oddsmakers tend to believe that Frost and the Huskers will be able to get another win this weekend when they face the Bulls.

According to WynnBET, Nebraska is currently favored to beat Buffalo by 13.5 points. The over/under is set for 54.5 points at the moment.

All in all, that’s not bad for Frost and his team.

Nebraska football: Will the Huskers be able to beat Buffalo by multiple scores?

This is another game that Frost and the Huskers can’t afford to lose. Much like how beating Fordham did little to salvage Nebraska’s season, there’s no way that a victory over Buffalo erases all of the criticism and pressure Frost is facing.

That said, had the Huskers lost to Fordham, things would have been considerably more frustrating for Nebraska football fans and Frost would have been drawing more criticism than any other coach in the country. Losing to Buffalo wouldn’t be as bad as a hypothetical loss to Fordham, but it would certainly derail this season and almost certainly put an end to any chance of getting this year salvaged.

So, a win over Buffalo doesn’t exactly make this year any better for Frost and his team, but a loss would definitely make things considerably worse.
