The Missouri football team had a lackluster showing against Central Michigan. Now the Tigers are an underdog against the Kentucky Wildcats.

Things weren’t exactly pretty for the Missouri football team when the Tigers hosted the Central Michigan Chippewas. While Mizzou did end up getting a decent win over Central Michigan, the Tigers were definitely tested by the Chippewas in a game that they should have been able to win with ease.

Now Eliah Drinkwtiz and his Missouri football team will be on the road and the Tigers are getting prepared to face an SEC East foe: the Kentucky Wildcats.

The Kentucky Wildcats are an intriguing team as they are have program that generally consistently wins against teams they should beat and has been working to move up in the SEC East. And going into this coming weekend, it appears that Mizzou is an underdog against Kentucky.

According to WynnBET, the Kentucky Wildcats are favored over the Missouri Tigers by five points. Given that this game will be in Lexington and that the Tigers looked vulnerable at times against Central Michigan, only being a five point underdog isn’t a bad spot to be in for Drinkwitz and his team.

The over/under is currently set for 56 points.

Missouri football: Will the Mizzou Tigers be able to pull off an upset against the Kentucky Wildcats?
