Scott Frost and the Nebraska football team have returned to Lincoln for a home game against the Fordham Rams.

Things have been rough for the Cornhuskers so far in 2021 as Scott Frost and the Nebraska football team lost an absolute disaster of a game to start the season. Losing to Bret Bielema and the Illinois Fighting Illini was something Frost needed to avoid, but that doesn’t matter now because it’s already happened.

Now the Huskers are back home and they’re hosting the Fordham Rams. Fordham is an FCS team and is far from being a terrifying foe, though the Rams do throw the ball around a lot and can score some points thanks to their passing attack.

The Huskers will need to account for that in this game.

The Huskers shouldn’t have an issue when it comes to winning this game. Fordham is from the FCS and doesn’t have the roster or resources that the Nebraska football program does. The Huskers should have a commanding lead over the Rams by the time the second quarter rolls around.

If the Huskers don’t look commanding or dominant in this game, that’s a bad sign for Frost. Nebraska needs to come out and win this game with ease. Especially considering that the Huskers lost a must-win game last week.

And even though this game against the Fordham Rams is far from being monumental or important for Nebraska, it’s the perfect opportunity for Frost and the Huskers to show some progress and bounce back after a disappointing and frustrating start to the year.
