No. 2: Nebraska football vs. Ohio State Buckeyes

Nebraska football fans haven’t had much fun as the Huskers have met up with the Ohio State Buckeyes over the years. Since making the move to the Big Ten, Nebraska has only managed to beat the Buckeyes once.

Ohio State is currently on a six-game winning streak over the Huskers and it seems unlikely that the streak ends this season.

Nebraska actually found a way to challenge Ohio State in Frost’s first season as the head coach of the Huskers, but things have been difficult since then. Back in 2018, Nebraska kept things close against Ohio State, losing by a score of 36-31.

In 2019, a game in which Nebraska was expected to find a way to make things interesting, the Cornhuskers crumbled. Ohio State beat Nebraska 48-7 and things could have been even worse for the Huskers. Last season, the Buckeyes beat the Huskers 52-17 in Columbus. And again, that game could have been even uglier if Ohio State wanted.

The Buckeyes appear to be the best team in the Big Ten going into the 2021 college football season and they’re likely going to contend for a national championship again this season. Head coach Ryan Day has this team rolling and this bunch has reloaded again nicely.

Unless Frost has something unexpected up his sleeve, the Huskers are likely to have a hard time in this game.
