No. 4: Nebraska football vs. Iowa Hawkeyes

Things haven’t exactly been great for the Nebraska football team as they’ve faced the Iowa Hawkeyes in recent years. While the Huskers historically own the series over the Hawkeyes, Iowa has won six games in a row over Nebraska.

The Huskers really haven’t had much luck against Iowa since making the move to the Big Ten, and there’s a chance that they won’t break that losing streak this year. With Kirk Ferentz still leading things over in Iowa City, the Iowa Hawkeyes appear poised to field another solid team this season.

That said, the past few meetings with Iowa have yielded some close results. Nebraska’s average margin of defeat over the last three games in this series is four points.

Maybe this is the season Frost breaks Nebraska’s losing streak against Iowa?

Maybe. This game is the final match up of the regular season for the Huskers and it’s coming after a few rough contests.

Nebraska starts November off by facing the Ohio State Buckeyes and then gets a bye week. After that week off, the Huskers hit the road and will face the Wisconsin Badgers. And then just six days after playing the Badgers, Nebraska plays Iowa.

Thankfully for the Huskers, they’ve got a bye week built in there, which should help some. But November shakes out to be a rough month for this team.
