No. 3: Kansas City Chiefs at Cincinnati Bengals: January 2

Another team that should be easy for Kansas City to beat is the Cincinnati Bengals. The team finished last year with a record of 4-11. When the two teams met last season, the Bengals lost the game with a score of 45-10.

Even though there’s a gulf of talent and success between the two teams at the moment, the two historically are fairly evenly matched. In the overall record between the two teams, there’s a lot of parity. The two have faced each other29 times in the past. the Bengals have won 15 times while the Chiefs have won 14 times.

There are several reasons why Kansas City is better than Cincinnati. The Chiefs have been built into one of the best teams in the NFL while the Bengals are working on improving their organization.

Another key reason is that the Bengals have a pretty weak defensive line. The Bengals’ weak defense likely won’t stand up to the Kansas City Chiefs’ powerful offense, or really the offense from any other team in the AFC North.

The Bengals also haven’t had the best luck with drafting any big name linebackers as of late. The Bengals and the Chiefs have been evenly matched for years, but as the Chiefs are just hitting their stride, we might see the difference growing.
