The Kansas City Chiefs are still on the road and are set to face the Arizona Cardinals. Here’s what you need to know to keep up with the preseason game.

One preseason game down, two more to go for the Kansas City Chiefs. Things definitely went well for Kansas City last week as the Chiefs won a sloppy defensive struggle against the San Francisco 49ers. But, a win is a win, even if it is in a preseason game.

Now Kansas City gets to face off against the Arizona Cardinals.

The Cardinals were an interesting team last season. In their second year with Kliff Kingsbury, the Cardinals’ offense showed plenty of promise as quarterback Kyler Murray improved from his rookie season. Partnering Murray up with wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was a brilliant move that will continue to produce plenty of exciting highlights for everyone to enjoy.

Except fans of whoever the Cardinals happen to be playing, that is.

However, Arizona only ended up going 8-8 last season. They started the year 6-3 and finished 2-5, which kept them out of the playoffs and ruined what could have been a fun year.

This game would make for a thrilling regular season match up. Could you imagine how much fun it’d be to see Patrick Mahomes in Andy Reid’s offense dueling against Murray in Kingsbury’s Air Raid-influenced schemes?

Unfortunately, it’s just a preseason game. But hey, it’s still football. So, we’ll take what we can get, right?

Whoever wins this game will advance on to being 2-0 in the preseason. While the Kansas City Chiefs made sure to dispatch of the San Francisco 49ers last week, the Arizona Cardinals defeated the Dallas Cowboys.
