Watch Kansas City Royals vs. Houston Astros: TV channel, reddit, stats, radio
By Ethan Lee
The Kansas City Royals are welcoming the Houston Astros to town as the two are set for a four-game series.
Neither of the past two series at home have gone well for the Kansas City Royals. Can they find a way to finish out this 10-game home stand with some wins? Well, the Royals are likely to have a hard time doing that considering they’ll be facing the Houston Astros.
Right now, these two teams are worlds apart in terms of talent and direction. The Astros have a team that should be a legit championship contender this season. The Royals are one of the worst in MLB in 2021.
And right now, when looking at a really small sample size, the teams are total opposites over their last five games. Houston is 4-1 while Kansas City is 1-4.
That doesn’t look good, so let’s try to have a moment with a bit of a bright side.
Both teams lost their most recent games. Sure, the Royals are on a four-game skid with three of those losses coming via a sweep by the Cardinals. BUT! Hey, the Astros, meanwhile, stubbed their toes and lost 3-1 after taking the series against the Los Angeles Angels.
That’s something, right?
