The Kansas City Chiefs were wise to get Joe Thuney on their roster

Many Kansas City Chiefs fans are counting the days until they can be back at Arrowhead cheering on their favorite team. With preseason still weeks away fans can only speculate who will join Patrick Mahomes on the offensive starting roster this season. The Chiefs made some major changes during their offseason, especially to the offensive line.

We won’t be able to tell how the changes to the line will compare against the other teams until preseason next month. The offensive line will be the main thing fans will watch, mainly to see if the changes made in the offseason were worth it.

Thinking about the 2021 season there are at least three players that have a good chance of making the 2021 offensive roster Laurent Duvernay-Tardif and Joe Thuney, have the potential to be some of the strongest players on the roster.

Joe Thuney is a new guard for the KC-Chiefs and fans are hoping he can bring some new energy to the offense. The guards last year faced a lot of setbacks and he could help turn things around this season. Thuney is an experienced veteran coming from the New England Patriots making him a prime choice to be on the roster. Thuney is a graduate of North Carolina state and has  shown himself to be a valuable player on every team he has played for.

Thuney currently ranks as one of the top guards. He is known for playing in 500 snaps more than any other player.  In 2016 Thuney was on the 2016 NFL all rookie team. Thuney would be the one to start on offense because he brings his record of being one of the best guards in the NFL and in 2017 Thuney was among the top three.  Thuney is a hard working guard and puts everything in his plays. Making him a great addition to the Chiefs Kingdom. The boys put everything they have on that field and Thuney will fit in with them perfectly and it will be exciting to see him use his skill on the field for the Chiefs.
