Kansas City Chiefs: Ranking the 5 toughest games on the 2021 schedule

No. 3: Aaron Rodgers is back with Green Bay and should make things tough for the Kansas City Chiefs
The unknown of Aaron Rodgers had many wondering if the matchup was going to live up to the hype. Rodgers returns to the Green Bay Packers training camp, adjust his contract, and is ready to play. Rodgers who won the MVP last year posting 4,299 yards thrown, 48 touchdowns, only 5 interceptions, and a QBR of 84.3.
One of the most amazing stats was the over 70% of his passes were completed. Green Bay would go onto lose in the NFC Championship to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Now the begin of a new season this team could get back to the NFC Championship because of the capabilities of Rodgers. The Packers have a good core at running back with Aaron Jones, and AJ Dillion. Both can run the ball but also can catch the football.
The Packers have one of the most elite wideouts in Davante Adams. Adams has been known to put up video game like numbers and last year was a good year for him. Adams was tied for 2nd in receptions with 115. He was tied for 5th in yards at 1,374. Adams was 1st in touchdowns with 18 and averaged 11.9 yards. The Packers make a trade to bring back former Packer wideout Randall Cobb. The biggest question mark has always been the performance of the receivers outside of Adams.
The defense has some very good players but also has holes in some areas as well. Preston Smith, Za”Darius Smith are a lethal combo at the linebacker position. The secondary for this Packers is lacking in depth, and can be seen as a weakness especially if injuries occur.
This is a marquee match up in week 9 to see Mahomes versus Rodgers. The Packers squared off against the Chiefs in 2019 but Mahomes was injured and Rodgers faced backup quarterback Matt Moore.
Not the excitement everyone was hoping for.
This game is going to be exciting to see the two gunslingers have a showdown at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. The crowd is going to be electric. This game will also be the half way point in the NFL season so the overall standings will be revealing themselves.
This is #3 because the average football fan will understand the magnitude of the two teams in this game.
