Looking for an opportunity to meet some members of the Kansas City Chiefs during training camp? This COVID-19 vaccine clinic is one of the few chances you’ll get.

If you’re a Kansas City Chiefs fan and you’re trying to find a chance to meet some of the players during training camp, you’re not going to have many opportunities. Due to NFL protocols, fans can’t approach players to get autographs.

Oh, and you’ll need a ticket to even attend training camp. Given the high demand and the fact that tickets are first come, first serve, good luck getting one of those.

But, the Kansas City Chiefs, Mosaic Life Care, and Missouri Western State University do have a way for you to get to meet some members of the Kansas City Chiefs during training camp: an on-campus COVID-19 vaccine clinic.

Three members of the Kansas City Chiefs are scheduled to show up as special guests at the event: defensive lineman Chris Jones, wide receiver Byron Pringle, and wider receiver Demarcus Robinson.

According to Missouri Western State University, the event is open to the community and is free, but you’ll have to register for an appointment ahead of time. Those who are interested in registering for an appointment should click here.

The event is currently scheduled to go from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on August 12.

Interaction between fans and the members of the Kansas City Chiefs will be limited during the event, according to a report from KQ2.

From KQ2’s report:

"“As an incentive to encourage more people to get vaccinated, Chiefs fans will have the opportunity to meet defensive tackle Chris Jones, and wide receivers Byron Pringle and Demarcus Robinson. Mosaic officials said interaction would be limited.”"
