Kansas City Chiefs: 3 potential NFL cut candidates to pursue

Now that NFL teams have gotten to see some of their new rookies in action through rookie minicamp and OTA’s and the fact training camp is right around the corner, roster spots are going to be up for grabs between younger players and veterans this summer.

Of course, there are some veterans that may be on the outside looking in due to some new roster additions and young draft picks that will be looking to take their spot. Every year it seems like there is a handful of big names that surprisingly become available that can still play but either lost their spot due to the emergence of someone else or because releasing that player may also save a little bit of money.

The Kansas City Chiefs will have an opportunity to benefit from this as they do have a few positions that arguably could used a seasoned veteran with a little more proven production or just some untapped potential which is exactly what you can find through post training camp cuts. We’ve obsessed over some bottom of the barrel free agents to bolster said spots but the truth is the Chiefs may be waiting on something bigger and better.

All of that being said, here are three potential cut candidates from around the league that could benefit the Kansas City Chiefs.
