Day 2 targets for the Kansas City Chiefs

2. Dyami Brown, WR (North Carolina)

A wide receiver that Chiefs fans have been growing attached to is North Carolina’s Dyami Brown, who is a downfield threat. This is exactly what the Chiefs want and exactly what the rest of the league doesn’t want to see happen. Giving Mahomes a downfield threat like Brown would be terrifying for the other 31 teams in the league.

Brown has put up back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons for the Tar Heels and combined for 20 touchdowns during that time. He had 12 touchdowns in 2019 and is the red zone threat that the Chiefs could desperately need.

It’s no secret that Kansas City needs to add another wide receiver and while names like Elijah Moore and Rondale Moore will likely be long gone by the time the Chiefs are on the board, Brown is a realistic name that could be available late in the second round. He’d be a lot of fun to watch in Andy Reid’s offense.
