KC Chiefs Mock Draft 7.0

Round 6: Pick 181 – Deommodore Lenoir, CB (Oregon)

Deommodore Lenoir. 181. player. 820. . Cornerback. Ducks

The Chiefs aren’t in a terrible spot when it comes to the cornerback position, but they could certainly use some depth. Deommodore Lenoir of Oregon could provide them with that depth.

A four-year contributor for the Ducks, what stands out the most about Lenoir when looking at his stats is that he recorded at least one interception every year. He had six total interceptions, including three in 2018. He’s also a pretty good tackler, which isn’t always the most common for cornerbacks, especially in the NFL.

Lenoir wouldn’t be a starter, but the Chiefs don’t need one right off the bat. They have L’Jarius Sneed, Charvarius Ward, and Rashad Fenton and hopefully Deandre Baker will be able to contribute at some point in 2021.

By the time the sixth round rolls around, teams are mostly looking to fill depth and that’s what the Chiefs do here with the selection of Lenoir.
