What has to happen in order for KC Royals fans to consider the 2021 season a successful one?

Major League Baseball is less than a week into the season and after not having a full season of baseball last year, Kansas City Royals fans are just happy to have back the sport and the team they love.

But, more than just having the game back, Royals fans are excited because this team could go places in 2021. They might not be a playoff team, but that’s okay. There are several other things that, if they happen, could definitely make 2021 a successful season for the boys in blue.

Let’s check out what those could be.

What would make a successful KC Royals season?

Staying competitive through September

The biggest thing that would make 2021 successful for Royals fans is if the team competes and is in playoff contention going into September. This doesn’t necessarily mean they have to be in it until the very end (though that’d be great, obviously), but just being relevant in September would be a nice change of pace for this team and these fans.
