Five contributors KC Chiefs can land if they move down
Stone Forsythe, OT (Florida)
The Kansas City Chiefs were not only in Gainsville for the Florida Gators’ pro day workouts, but the Chiefs coaches ran the offensive line workouts. At a minimum, that indicates a strong interest by a team to have such a hands-on role in the pro-day drill.
Regardless of the pro day, Stone Forsythe is the type of prospect that was on my radar as a potential Chiefs draft target.
Stone has experience playing on both sides of the line, having started at both right and left tackle during his career. From a body standpoint, he is similar-ish to former Chiefs tackle Eric Fisher. Both are similar sizes and weights coming in and while Fisher was a bit more athletic, they are very close and at times have a very similar playstyle.
With long-term depth concerns along all areas of the offensive line, the Chiefs could certainly use a player that could compete at a minimum for playing time at either tackle spot and perhaps is good enough to push Lucas Niang to guard. Either way, finding a big, athletic offensive tackle prospect with multiple years of overall starting experience on both sides of the offensive line is a valuable asset to find.
