Cornerbacks for KC Chiefs to Target – Richard Sherman

It was a big deal when Richard Sherman was a free agent after a dominant career in Seattle and the argument for the Chiefs not to go after him then was that he’s “dramatic” and “old”. Sherman might turn up the theatrics a bit and he’ll turn 33 years old in March, but he’s shown that he’s still a very good player.

Sherman only started five games for the 49ers this past year and that’s the big concern with signing him. Can he stay healthy?

When he’s healthy, he’s one of the best cornerbacks in the league. The Chiefs have to at least make an offer to Sherman and see if he’s wanting to win one more ring in the final stretch of his career.

Cornerbacks for KC Chiefs to Target – Quinton Dunbar

An undrafted free agent out of Florida, Quinton Dunbar has become quite the NFL cornerback. He started just six games this year with Seattle, but he was a very good corner during his time with Washington from 2015-2019.

Dunbar has had at least one interception in each of his six seasons in the pros. He’s only 28 years old (he turns 29 in July) and that’s what makes him an appealing free-agent option for sure. It’s also why Dunbar will probably be priced out of KC’s range.

If they can make something work with Dunbar, however, they should absolutely look to bring him in.
