KC Chiefs Mock Draft 2.0

Round 6: Pick 180 – Khyiris Tonga, DL (BYU)

Cougars . Khyiris Tonga. 180. player. 861. . Defensive Lineman

When in doubt, add depth on defense and that’s what the Chiefs do with their final two picks in the draft. First up is Khyiris Tonga of BYU, who would give the Chiefs a big-bodied defender who, according to The Draft Network, is very good against the run.

"He excels as a run defender. When he plays with good pad level, he is extremely difficult to single block. He needs to become more consistent at disengaging quickly, but he does show the ability to get to the football."

Tonga had 36 tackles, five defended passes, 3.5 sacks, and a forced fumble during his senior season with the Cougars. He’s someone who could make a big splash in the right situation and the Chiefs could certainly use a player like him.
