Linebackers for KC Chiefs to Target – Elandon Roberts

Elandon Roberts was a nice find for the Patriots, who took him in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He won two Super Bowls during his stint with New England and then followed Brian Flores to Miami this past season where he recorded 61 combined tackles along with 1.5 sacks. This was through 11 starts and 13 total games.

Roberts will turn 27 years old in April, so he’s still young and there’s certainly potential with him. The reason he’s an option for KC is that he was injured at the end of the 2020 season and missed the rest of their games. This could bring his price tag down a bit, but due to his age, he could be too rich for the Chiefs’ blood.

If he wants a shot at a ring, however, there’s no better place to go right now than to Kansas City.

The Kansas City Chiefs can’t let another offseason go by without truly making major upgrades at linebacker. We saw how exposed they were in Super Bowl LV and this is a position that has been struggling for several years now.

It’s time to change that.
