Teams that KC Chiefs fans don’t want to land Deshaun Watson – No. 4: Steelers

After an atrocious performance by Ben Roethlisberger in the Wild Card game, it’s a very real possibility that the Steelers move on from Big Ben in the offseason. Pittsburgh brought in former Washington first-round pick (and bust) Dwayne Haskins, but if they have a chance to trade for Watson, there’s no doubt they’d be interested.

The Steelers getting Watson would be absolutely terrifying for the Chiefs because of how good their defense is and the fact that Watson would have a wide array of weapons ranging from Chase Claypool to James Washington to Diontae Johnson. He’d have everything in Pittsburgh that he didn’t have in Houston and be a part of a classic organization, so this would be a good fit for both sides.

Watson going to Pittsburgh would give the AFC North the best group of young quarterbacks in the league. He’d have to get past the likes of Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, and Baker Mayfield every year, which would make things a little easier for KC. Still, I have no desire to see Watson land with the Steelers, who have been a franchise that has had KC’s number over the last few decades.
