KC Chiefs vs Browns What to Watch: The Comeback that Could Have Been

The Browns showed they are a formidable foe from their game last week against the Steelers. At one time in the game, they had a 28-point lead against their division rival, thanks to plenty of Pittsburgh mistakes and capitalizing on turnovers.

The Browns might have won 48-37, but the crazy thing is, the Steelers looked like they were coming back at one point. The Steelers turned the Browns’ 28-point lead into just a 12-point lead. Going from 28-0 to 35-23 is a concerning drop, but why are we talking about this with the game against the Chiefs?

Mahomes is the comeback king in the NFL. Case in point — He erased a 24-0 lead that the Texans had in the divisional round last season. Mahomes will not give the Browns as many chances to seal the win either. He has only thrown two interceptions in all five playoff games he has played, with both of those 2 coming in the same game.

Since the Browns passing defense has struggled, Mahomes will be able to do his thing when he needs to. If Cleveland had the 28-point lead against the Chiefs last week, the Browns might have been looking toward next season for their first playoff win.
