Kansas City Chiefs. MIKE DANNA. B+. . DE

The Chiefs look to have something with Mike Danna and that’s not something most of us would have predicted when they took him in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Danna played in the final four games of the season and racked up seven tackles (three for loss), two quarterback hits, and one sack.

Danna received the most playing time he had all season in Week 17, receiving 85% of the snaps on defense. He had two solo tackles in that one and it was good to see the rookie in a significant amount of action. Danna looks like he could be a key part of this Chiefs defense moving forward and that’s pretty darn good for a fifth round pick that no one had heard of.

C. . CB. Kansas City Chiefs. BOPETE KEYES

Some might say this grade is too high given how poorly BoPete Keyes played in his lone start of the season, but I’m going to cut the kid some slack. He’s a seventh-round pick who the Chiefs knew was going to be a project moving forward.

Keyes played in just one game this quarter and had eight total tackles. He played in 94% of the snaps on defense and yes, he struggled, but it was his first start and the game was meaningless. The Chiefs will have to be patient with Keyes and we all knew that so an average grade here seems fair.
