Kansas City Chiefs: Fourth quarter report card for 2020 rookies
How did the 2020 draft class for the Kansas City Chiefs finish out the year?
The 2020 regular-season has come to a close for the Kansas City Chiefs, so with that, comes the fourth quarter rookie report card. As always, we’ll look at every draft pick as well as some of the key undrafted free agents who have done enough to make an impression. How did the 2020 draft class grade out on the season?
First up is first-round running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire. Unfortunately, Edwards-Helaire only played in two games for this quarter, as he was injured in the fourth quarter of the Saints game. Prior to his injury, however, Edwards-Helaire was finally starting to figure things out.
The Chiefs running back might have only played in two games, but he rushed for 111 yards and had 63 yards receiving during that time. Edwards-Helaire was really finding his groove against the Saints in the game in which he was injured, so it made it even more unfortunate that he was injured.
Hopefully, the Chiefs can get Edwards-Helaire back for the playoffs because it felt like the kid was starting to round the corner and be a dominant running back.
