Good: Byron Pringle

One of the big things we learned in this game is that Byron Pringle could be competing for a starting position next season. The dude was on fire with Chad Henne throwing to him.

Pringle finished this game with four grabs for 52 yards and a touchdown. He was always open and made Henne’s first start since 2014 a little easier with his explosiveness. This game definitely made Pringle look superior to that of Mecole Hardman and we could see a legitimate fight from Pringle for the WR2 spot next season. I’m all for that.

Bad: BoPete Keyes

Are you catching onto a pattern here? The Chiefs secondary was not good on Sunday and while it was rookie BoPete Keyes‘ first NFL start, he didn’t impress at all. It’s not hard to fault the guy, as he hasn’t had a ton of playing time and when he has been on the field, it’s been with special teams.

Keyes is a project and we knew that when the Chiefs traded up to draft him in the seventh round earlier this year. Still, he did not play well on Sunday so he deserves to be listed here.
